    第1幕のフィナーレ。1832年のパリ蜂起の前夜、ジャン・バルジャン、マリウス、コゼット、エポニーヌ、アンジョルラス、ジャヴェール、テナルディエ夫妻など、登場人物たちがそれぞれの立場から『明日』への思いを歌い上げるシーン。革命への期待、個々の葛藤、愛と別れなど、複雑な感情が交錯する合唱形式のナンバー。
